Features and Benefits

At Tanks in Tight Places, we designed the Squareline Flexi Tank™ to overcome the limitations of conventional water tank design to enable Adelaide household to reduce their reliance on SA Water mains supply without sacrificing the look and amenity of their garden.

In fact, we went one step further to create a  water tank that can also be a landscaping feature in its own right—just like any other landscaping feature such as a pathway or decking.  Thus, the Squareline Flexi Tank™  can be used proactively as a landscaping feature to enhance the look and amenity of the garden and to help layout the garden design.

Benefits

With the Squareline Flexi Tank™ you get far more than a conventional water tank to justify your investment:

  • You get large water storage capacity – enough to make a big dent in your reliance on SA Water, to overcome water restrictions and to reduce your water bills substantially.
  • You get a water tank that looks great in its own right:  of composite construction and built from familiar residential building materials – no plastic, no monolithic industrial looking repetitive shapes.
  • You get a water storage tank and a landscaping feature with great versatility—both as a tank and as a landscaping feature in its own right.
  • You get a custom made product to suit your exact needs and your exact space requirements – no wasted space and no unwanted intrusion into areas of the garden reserved for entertaining and family living.
  • There are no special site access requirements.  You get a rainwater tank that is built on site from the ground up from a kit of parts.

Landscaping with the Squareline Flexi Tank™

The Squareline Flexi Tank, like all effective landscaping features (eg retaining walls, paths and ponds) can be used as a generalised landscaping and garden layout tool in order to, for example:

  • differentiate functional areas in the garden.
  • provide privacy screening and fencing.
  • provide a substrate for climbing plants.
  • allow attachment of seating, hanging pots, shelving, cupboards and garden sculptures.
  • allow the attachment of any type of building façade to disguise its water storage function and to blend into existing house and garden architecture.
  • serve as a load bearing wall incorporated into pergolas, carports, garages and even the house.

Justifying an investment in rainwater storage

All this makes your investment in a rainwater tank far easier to justify because the Squareline Flexi Tank™ has so many advantages over other tanks and because it has more than one function in the garden:  it doubles as a good looking and versatile landscaping feature in its own right—just like other landscaping features such as retaining walls, paths or decking.  These are all examples of landscaping features that not only serve their own function such as in the case of retaining walls, stabilisation of earth, but also help layout the garden into functional areas, break up the monotony of the landscape and provide a focal point for the cultivation of flowers and shrubs.

No other water tank available on the market can make these claims.
